:D hello iam new to this forum, i have 20 chins 3 from vickys rescue and two from jaynes rescue, 1 dog, 1 hamster, 3 cats 1 from a rescue centre i foster for woodgreen animal shelter and i was fostering him but his owners didnt want him so he is mine now :lol: and 1 rabbit and love them all to bits, i also love to cross stitch and spending time with my children i have 3 and my husband, i love swimming when i get the chance :lol:

Hi Sam welcome to the Forum.

I know Vickie who has the rescues she has bought chins from me.I always think the rescue chins make lovley pets and its nice to hear people like you taking rescues in.

I breed chinchillas as well plus i show mine.I also have rabbits, 2 dogs,1 cat ,marine fish tanks and 2 kids age 11 and 4.

Would love to hear more about all your pets.

:D hiya thanks for the warm welcome, i will post some pics of them very soon, i love marine fish my dad used to have a four foot tank of them they are beautiful fish, :razz:

my son is 11, my daughter is 9 will be 10 on monday and my other daughter is 2 and ahalf will be 3 on the 23rd two birthdays in sept 4 days a part all good fun :lol: :lol:

Welcome to the forum. Everyone here has the love of pets and family at heart.
I cannot fathom why a person can be so cruel to a pet they purchase.

It break my heart at times to see some of the chins Aileen has rescued and then I smile again once I see pics of them when rehomed to a loving home. They always look so much better physically and certainly have a sparkle to their eyes which wasnt there the day they were rescued.
Without owners like you these pets wouldn't have a life worth living.

A pat on the back to you and many others who help out by taking in rescues.

Ohhh and welcome to the forum Look forward to hearing more about you.

I am Aileen's mum and live just a few minutes away from her. I used to do lots of large tapestry and cross stitch works. Loved knitting, crochet and dressmaking too. Unfortunately my hands dont do what I want them to do now. I am now retired and spend my time on the net a lot while helping Aileen maintain her Chinchilla sites so my days as you may guess are still busy.

:) hiya thanks for that, i do love animals and i cant stand to think that some people hurt them the way they do :cry: there is no need for it they are living creatures and deserve respect just like anybody else,

i will give her a hug thanks i cant believe that she is 10 on mon and her sister will be 3 on fri 23rd four days later they grow up too fast for my liking :lol:

I also have a son and he just turned 11 on the 12 of this month.My otehr son will be 5 in febuary.

Do you ever go to shows,if you do let me know and we can meet up.

Lol marine tanks tahts all i can see in my house with 2 tanks,1 is 4 feet just over and the otehr one is 6 feet long :roll: .

:D hiya u did want to go to the birdwell show on sunday but we are having a little party for my daugther so wont be able to go to that one i have never been to the shows before, but would like to go to the next one i think the next one is at the end of sept :scratch: and yes i would like that to meet up with u i will def go to the next show, please could you tell me when the next one will be and where it will be held many thanks

perhaps you can make it to this show below which is the one due after the Scottish show and a bit further south than Birdwell?

thanks the party went well she had a good time with 2 of her friends 2 of them couldnt come cause they were at their dads for the weekend but we had family aswell :razz:
