Good Morning Members.
Dull'ish today had rain through the night which has freshened the air.
This is me online now and will keep checking here regularly for any messages needing a reply.
Have any of you noticed the new Chinchilla Reference section? It makes interesting reading so do have a look.
Debbie, who is a breeder friend of Aileen has kindly agreed to help out here in admin and moderating chinchilla topics and had been adding a few facts for us to store in the reference section.
Renowned for her Violets Debbie has been breeding and showing for around same amount of years as Aileen and she also makes and sells a suppliment/treat which chins love - contains oats and herbs etc.
A teaspoonful no more than twice a week as a treat or suppliment is all you need to use and it's also very nutritious for poorly or pregnant chins not eating. If you want details of Debbie's address or price etc do please PM or email her. Aileen highly recommends this mix. Do give it a try. Much better than sticky sweet sugary treats which are bad for chins.
Hope everyone has a smiley day today.

Morning Mum.
Good idea the reference section and good of Debbie to do it for us and also to take the time to add to it.
I have just sent a cheque away for 3 bags of the mix mum.I thought we could use one bag and split it to add to the prizes.Once people have tried it with their chins i find they buy it then.
 I dont know any chin that would say no to the mix :D .

Hi Rissa,
We are still doing kitchen yet.The units are all in but we have to get the old grouting of to add the new tiles on so its going to be dusty.
Its warm here today and no air.I have a sore head with the lack of air here.
I had a breeder from down south at my shed this morning looking at chins and picking what they wanted for after the shows.
Dave is working late shift today and kids are all away out playing.
Think i will go and have a nice hot bath and relax.
Have a radio on for the chins Rissa it will help drown any noise out.
take care

Hi all late today as this is my day off. Couldnt resist checking the group message boards and here though. Old habits die hard. ;-)
Doesn't you house ever slow down at weekend Aileen? It's supposed to be weekend and rest time. Hope she liked your chins. Nice she was able to stake her claim and reserve some for after show season.
Hey rissa I do hope chins are okay! they are not gonna be setting fireworks off are they? perhaps just loud music and loud speakers etc? as Aileen said put your chin radios on. No chin set up should be without them.
Do give an update on how it goes. Take some pics too? Would love to see them
